The Accommodating Country

Have you ever wondered which country is the most accommodating country in the world?

After relaxing from my previous trip from the unwelcoming Bahamas, I started to research about which of the American countries is accommodating and I couldn’t really figure it out clearly. Canada is an awesome place but I didn’t go as a refugee. I said to myself, it’s time to visit the South of the America. I had a lot of countries listed out. I picked Brazil first and guess what? It was one of the best decisions I’ve taken in a while. At least it covered up for the atrocities of The Bahamas people..

When I got to the airport of Sao Paulo, it doesn’t really look like they were nice though, they were speaking Portuguese, a language I did not understand and was trying to find my way to know how the refugee stuff works there. At first I was scared about going to another prison-like camp, but I had plan B of course.

I met with an officer that speaks English and we started talking, I told him some of my experiences about my previous travel and he was so sorry, he asked if I wanted to stay in Brazil, oh yes! You read right, he wanted me to stay in his country and offered to process my refugee status himself! I was astonished. I mean how? people that doesn’t even speak my language well, and they aren’t even black!

Without thinking twice, I said yes. I mean that was my plan anyways, to see how the refugees are being treated. Let me quickly say this, Brazil for me if not the best is one of the most accommodating countries in the world.

Immediately, the guy stated talking to the human rights on my behalf, right inside the airport, as a lady, I was lodged inside a very beautiful hotel inside the airport, with a very big room all to myself. I was treated like a Queen! A refugee being treated so amazingly well! Immediately, I already knew Brazil is an amazing country.

Throughout the two days of the processing of my document, I was living inside this beautiful hotel right inside the airport and being fed well, they even assigned to me an officer, in case I have any questions or need anything. And the receptionists at the hotel were so welcoming. Oh My God! what more can I say, you should come to Brazil.

Within two days, my documents are ready and was given to me, none of my belongings were seized and I had my phones and other things with me all through, they even helped go to claim my belongings at the airline luggage claim department, I’ve never felt so special in my entire life. What’s not to love about Brazil! And that’s it, I was told I can enter the city and do as I like. I think I asked like five times what they meant by I can go, I mean, it’s strange I wasn’t locked up like The Bahamas people did.

In as much as you aren’t a criminal and do not have bad record, you are free in Brazil. They are so loving and accommodating. And the city is so beautiful, also they have beautiful beaches. It’s good for adventure, it’s a big city, the only thing is, only few of them speaks English. They speak Portuguese in Brazil and are ready to even pay you to teach them English.

I am having the best fun over here in Brazil. And I am being respected. The weather is good and they have the most beautiful girls in the world, the guys are cute too.

So many things about Brazil written online aren’t true, it’s not dangerous as they claim it to be, every countries have bad people but since I came here, I’ve never been harassed or robbed not once. What’s not to love about Brazil.

I will be writing more on Brazil in my next post, the world needs to know more about this amazingly beautiful country.
